Ingredients
- 1 bunch of asparagus
- Sea Salt
- Fresh ground pepper
- Avocado oil or olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Prepare Baking Sheet:
- Lightly spray a baking sheet with avocado oil or olive oil spray.
- Trim Asparagus:
- Rinse the asparagus and pat dry.
- Cut 2-3 inches off the bottom of the asparagus stalks where the green color fades. You can also snap off with your fingers.
- Season Asparagus:
- Lay the trimmed asparagus in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Spray or drizzle the asparagus with a light coating of olive oil.
- Season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Roast:
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.
- Roast for 8-10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the asparagus and your preferred level of crispness. For a slightly crisper texture, remove them from the oven when they still have a bright green color.
- Serve:
- Serve the roasted asparagus immediately, while they are warm and tender.
